Feminist Theory is calling on the international feminist community of thinkers, activists, scholars, writers, doers, workers, and more, to contribute responses to the recent overturning of Roe vs. Wade by the Supreme Court of the United States, and the ongoing concerted attacks on reproductive rights and on reproductive bodies around the world. We are also interested in pieces that focus on global and historic movements for reproductive justice as a way to understand and navigate feminist futures in this critical moment.
The Editorial Collective welcomes these response in any form or genre, with a 500-2000 word limit for textual content or 2-4 minutes for video.
The contributions will be published without paywalls on the new Feminist Theory blog (https://feministtheoryjournal.com).
This is a rolling call for papers, and we will publish material as it is submitted. We welcome engagements with race, class, religion, sexuality, transgender studies, and other fields that intersect with the reproductive including and beyond law.
To submit, or with any questions: feminist-theory@ncl.ac.uk.
In solidarity,
The Feminist Theory Editorial Collective
